This one of my first "real" flyers ever and still one of my favorites. Its based off the Spike Lee 'she's gotta have it' movie poster. Brooklyn brand meets Brooklyn movie. Fly girl Nona meets fly Harriet's girls...I thought the whole concept was brilliant at the time. I kinda still do.
This was great. LOL. it makes me laugh just thinking about it. This was for a sleep over in the old Harriet’s boutique... YES a sleep over in the store.(it was crazy fun) i had to think long and hard about what image to use because i didn't want it to be something really corny like a pillow or childish and pink or a slutty stock photo of some grown up girls having an orgy sleep over...so I'm like...hmmmmm hand made clothing, sleep over, BINGO! a vintage pajama pattern remixed! although creatively I'm happy with how it turned out, I wish I had then the technical skill i have now to execute it allot better.
This was a graphic used on the original Harriet's Alter Ego Blog. It was used as "click here" place holder image. I'm unsure of who the original photographer was but this series of photos was great! I just put the polaroid border and added the H.A.E logo stamp for a fashionable Where's Waldo effect.
